Job summary

Simon-Kucher is seeking a motivated FP&A intern to join the North American Finance team in a full-time 3–6 month program. You will support financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis across the region, collaborating with finance and business stakeholders to drive informed decisions.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a finance-related degree, highly organized, and possesses strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to work on-site 1–2 days per week. U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Ability to intern full-time for 3–6 months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of recurring financial reports and KPI dashboards.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and performance drivers.
• Assist in creating presentations for management reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.
• Assist with sales pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting.
• Support project profitability analysis and resource utilization reporting.
• Assist in monitoring project financial performance and identifying variances.
• Help prepare financial analyses for project reviews.
• Prepare data for management meetings and leadership presentations.
• Maintain financial databases and reporting files.
• Collaborate with finance team members on cross-functional projects.
• Support ad hoc requests from finance and business leadership.
