Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Analyst to support government customers, upstream billing, and finance teams. You will own relationships and ensure timely payments while diving into payment data to drive improvements.

Baseline qualifications include a current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and strong data analysis skills. The role requires cross-time-zone collaboration and a focus on process standardization and metrics reporting.

Qualifications

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Government Officials in a collections type role.
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Single point of contact for all collections related tasks for AWS strategic Government customers.
Understand the end-to-end relationship with the customers and proactively manage past due balances.
Create statement of accounts, communication plans, SOPs for specific customer accounts.
Report collections related key metrics on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Create and share root cause analysis & write documents for dive deep sessions.
Escalate to senior leadership key issues that could impact collections.
Deliver on multiple data requests and participate in process improvement workshops.
Manage highly ambiguous situations and communicate effectively with multiple stake holders.
