Job summary

Amazon in USA: Arlington, VA is seeking an Invoicing Compliance Analyst to own end-to-end invoicing for complex public sector contracts. You'll extract data, validate, submit, and reconcile invoices while building controls to reduce risk. Strong analytical skills and cross-team coordination are essential.

The role requires only a US citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. You will collaborate with contracting officers and AWS teams to ensure funding alignment and automate processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of government acquisitions including FAR/DFARS
• Experience extracting and analyzing financial data (SQL/Excel or similar)
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
• Cross-functional collaboration experience
• Stakeholder management experience
• Experience scripting for automation (Python, Perl, Ruby)

Responsibilities

• Own monthly invoice generation, validation, and submission for assigned customer contracts
• Extract raw usage and financial data from databases to produce reporting
• Resolve invoicing discrepancies with customers and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with contracting officers and program managers to align funding with requirements
• Design and implement automation to reduce manual effort in reporting and analysis
• Respond to data calls from program management offices and service teams
• Ensure timely tracking of accounts and contract funding status
