Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and finance tasks, including cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance. The role focuses on applying accounting practices to projects ranging from $1 million to $4 billion.

Based in the Kiewit Bridge & Marine District, Vancouver, WA, the position contributes to month-end close and prepares financial reporting for project management.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other key excel functions is preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting to project management.
• Maintain purchasing workflow internal controls and cost reporting accuracy.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Operations team to understand project needs and deliverables.
