Job summary

S&P Global Inc. seeks an AI+ Lead to drive strategic AI initiatives within the Enterprise Finance and Strategy team.

You will partner with Corporate Finance and CFOs to scale AI solutions, ensuring they are ethical and aligned with corporate objectives for finance and strategy; emphasis on AI/ML, NLP, and GenAI to improve processes and performance. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in finance, digital transformation, or related fields, with AI/automation/robotics rollout experience.
• Proven experience leading AI/ML, NLP, and GenAI projects in global, complex organizations.
• Strong project and program management experience with cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent communication, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
• Experience partnering with Finance organizations including Corporate Finance teams or CFOs.
• Ability to translate business needs into AI+ solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive AI+ strategy for the Finance team, aligned with SPGI's objectives.
• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities, creating a roadmap with milestones, resources and timelines.
• Guide the implementation of AI technologies, ensuring smooth integration with workflows and systems.
• Lead the design and deployment of AI solutions to improve performance, satisfaction and efficiency across Finance.
• Partner with Finance Leadership, Corporate Finance, and divisional CFOs to align AI solutions with business needs.
• Collaborate to ensure alignment and buy-in for AI+ initiatives across functions.
• Engage stakeholders to translate needs into AI+ solutions and data strategy.
• Develop data management strategies focused on quality, accessibility and utilization.
• Conduct readiness assessments and evaluate current AI capabilities to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Assess data, technology, talent and processes to plan improvements.
• Lead the design and deployment of AI+ projects within Finance and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Articulate AI/ML, NLP, GenAI benefits and prerequisites to stakeholders and manage risks.
• Establish KPIs and report progress to leadership; measure ROI and impact.
• Monitor and govern ethical AI deployment and governance mechanisms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and represent Finance in AI forums.
