Job summary

RBC in Jersey City is seeking a Director, Finance Intelligent Automation & Controls within the Office of the US CFO. You will own the prototype-to-pilot AI-enabled transformation across Regulatory Reporting, Financial Control, Product Control, and FP&A, building agentic AI prototypes and establishing scalable patterns for enterprise productionization.

You will shape a multi-year AI roadmap, lead value realization metrics, define governance patterns, and partner with Technology and Data to unlock

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, CS, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive Finance experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership at a major financial institution.
• Hands-on AI/ML delivery experience: built and shipped LLM-based or agentic solutions in production environments.
• Strong governance, audit, and controls design from inception.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the multi-year Finance AI roadmap across data, automation, AI, reporting, and workflow optimization.
• Identify high-value AI use cases and build the first working agentic AI prototype for core production workflows.
• Establish and track value-realization metrics (productivity, cycle-time, quality, decision support).
• Define prototype-to-pilot hand-off pattern and standards for productionization at enterprise scale.
• Design for governance, audit, controls from inception with audit trails and knowledge grounding.
• Partner with Technology/Data to improve Finance data assets, quality, lineage, and accessibility.
• Lead stakeholder management with senior Finance leadership and global teams to align investment decisions.
