RBC in Jersey City seeks a Director-level Business Manager to lead digital transformation, product development, and operational excellence across Capital Markets. You will shape roadmaps, establish governance, and drive KPI-led performance with senior leadership.

Responsibilities span ROI modeling, cross-functional delivery, and risk controls, while promoting data-driven decisions and executive communications.

Qualifications

12+ years in capital markets operations, business management, or management consulting with transformation success.
Strong financial acumen; able to develop business cases, manage budgets, and show financial impact.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership across levels.
Deep understanding of capital markets operations, processes, and client needs in IB/trading.
Advanced proficiency in data analysis and project management tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of digital transformation roadmaps aligned with Capital Markets objectives.
Establish prioritization frameworks to evaluate trade-offs across initiatives for ROI impact.
Partner with product teams to define requirements and ensure delivery of efficiency solutions.
Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships to align priorities and resolve challenges.
Own the team OKR framework and develop KPI hierarchies cascading from enterprise objectives.
Define governance reporting cadences and translate performance data into executive insights.
Champion data-driven decision making with analytics capabilities and real-time dashboards.
Own P&L accountability for transformation portfolio and ROI tracking.
Develop business cases and financial models to support investment decisions.
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and technology risks; ensure controls and continuity.
Lead vendor evaluation and relationship management for technology providers.
Oversee process optimization to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
Lead change management to drive adoption of new tools and ways of working.
Monitor industry trends and technologies for innovation and differentiation.
Own communications strategy and deliver tailored updates to stakeholders.
Foster a collaborative culture of excellence and engagement across teams.
