Job summary

RBC Capital Markets LLC, Jersey City, seeks a Director of Finance Intelligent Automation & Controls to own the prototype-to-pilot pipeline for AI-enabled transformation across Regulatory Reporting, Financial Control, Product Control, and FP&A.

You will personally build agentic AI prototypes that accelerate core finance workflows while establishing governable, reusable patterns for enterprise productionization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced technical credential preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles at a major financial institution.
• Demonstrated hands-on AI/ML delivery experience: personally built and shipped LLM-based or agentic solutions in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the multi-year Finance AI roadmap across data, automation, AI, reporting, and workflow optimization.
• Identify high-value AI use cases and build prototypes for core production workflows.
• Establish and track value-realization metrics for productivity gains and cycle-time reduction.
• Define prototype-to-pilot hand-off patterns and technical standards for enterprise productionization.
• Design for governance, audit, controls, and compliance from inception.
