Job summary

Flex, a NYC headquartered fintech, seeks a Director of Financial Systems & Transformation to own the internal financial systems (ERP, P2P, T&E) and to design AI-powered workflows. You will partner with Finance, Engineering, and AI Central to scale controls and automate processes.

Based in New York with hybrid work, you will lead ITGC, FP&A tooling, and accelerated month-end close while building a next-gen, AI-enabled Finance function.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial systems, accounting technology, or a closely related field.
• Deep ERP expertise with go-live, integration design, and post-live optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own ERP (Campfire) as Flex's financial system of record, including configuration and governance.
• Own P2P systems for AP and T&E, evaluating near-term enhancements and tooling strategy.
• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered financial workflows and integration with FP&A tooling.
• Lead ITGC and access control framework design for automated workflows and SOX readiness.
• Partner with Engineering, Data, and AI Central to scale the Finance function with automation.
