Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is hiring an Executive Recruiter specializing in accounting and finance talent solutions. The role focuses on building client relationships with senior financial leaders, prospecting for new business, and delivering direct-hire finance/accounting placements.

You will manage full lifecycle recruiting across a national platform. You will leverage an established brand, work autonomously, and develop a book of business while collaborating with colleagues across offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-desk recruiting, finance and accounting staffing, executive search, consulting, or solutions-sales experience.
• Proven track record developing new business, recruiting talent, closing placements, and hitting revenue/gross-margin goals.
• Established relationships within the local business or finance community.
• Strong prospecting, interviewing, negotiation, presentation, closing and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance BD, recruiting, and process management across multiple searches.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with financial leaders, including CFOs and other senior decision-makers.
• Generate new business through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, social media, and in-person meetings.
• Sell finance and accounting direct-hire solutions within your local market.
• Identify client needs, secure new job orders, lead intake conversations, and establish clear search strategies.
• Source, engage, evaluate, and recruit finance and accounting professionals for direct-hire opportunities.
• Build and maintain pipelines of qualified clients and candidates within a focused market.
• Present qualified candidates with clear summaries of experience and fit.
• Manage client and candidate relationships through interview, feedback, offer, and close.
• Develop and maintain a focused target-account strategy and consistent sales pipeline.
• Collaborate across offices, practices, and markets to pursue opportunities and share talent.
