Job summary

Port of Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) seeks a Finance & Accounting internship student to assist with data entry, filing, and preparation and reconciliation of general accounting transactions. You will support invoice processing, financial reporting, and ad hoc projects under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting staff accountants, AR, AP, and FP&A functions, with emphasis on accuracy and timely processing. Strong English, writing, and time management are required; Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• This is an internship; enrolled in college/university required.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with accounting entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Assist accounts receivable with invoicing, documentation, and collections support.
• Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices, documentation, and record-keeping.
• Support FP&A with reconciling budget files and financial analysis.
• Provide general support to Finance and Accounting staff.
