Job summary

Stonefield Engineering & Design is seeking a Finance and Accounting Coordinator in Tampa, FL to join our Finance Department. This full-time role focuses on learning our financial systems, streams of data, and reporting processes to support the company’s growth.

You will collaborate with a small team, handle accounts payable and receivable, draft invoices, and contribute to financial analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient with Unanet and Excel, and eager to grow within a

Qualifications

1-3 years of professional office experience preferred but not required.
Proficiency with accounting software such as Unanet.
Experience with Microsoft Excel; pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are a plus.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Participate in the Finance and Accounting team with colleagues across the firm.
Support billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and reporting processes.
Learn and use our accounting software system to find, summarize, and report data.
Collaborate with service teams to improve financial performance and client communication.
Assist in regular financial analysis and variance reporting.
Follow up on client accounts to resolve discrepancies.
