Job summary

Stonefield Engineering & Design is seeking a Finance and Accounting Coordinator to join our Rutherford, NJ team. You will be immersed in our financial systems, handling billing, AR/AP, and reporting while collaborating with multiple service teams and clients.

The ideal candidate will learn quickly, be detail-oriented, and adaptable, with 1–3 years of office experience and proficiency in Unanet and Excel. This role is full-time and on-site at our Rutherford office.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional office experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Unanet and Excel; pivot tables and VLOOKUPs a plus.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft 100+ invoices per month as part of the billing team.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support regular financial analysis and reporting to improve performance.
• Communicate with clients to resolve financial discrepancies and data issues.
• Learn and navigate the accounting software and financial systems.
