Job summary

Allegro Home Delivery is seeking an Operations Specialist - Final Mile in Saint Paul, MN. The role supports daily big and bulky home delivery and installation operations, working with the area manager to staff routes, assist drivers, and track performance.

The candidate is on-site in a fast-paced delivery environment, with responsibilities across route management, customer communication, and on-site operational duties to ensure service levels are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in final mile delivery or related logistics role.
• Familiarity with routing software and TMS platforms (Onfleet, Route4Me or similar).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist market manager in daily management of delivery routes and driver assignments.
• Provide real-time guidance and dispatch support to drivers and crews.
• Monitor routes for delays and capacity issues; communicate changes to teams.
• Help build and optimize daily routes using routing software.
• Perform pre-delivery outreach and post-delivery updates to customers.
• Escalate unresolved issues with full documentation for management review.
• Conduct route audits and support performance reporting for leadership.
