Job summary

NXTPoint Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the Tulsa location, including staffing, vendor relations, and P&L alignment.

You'll lead a team of employees and independent contractors, implement process improvements, monitor KPIs, ensure safety, and maintain strong customer satisfaction while controlling budgets and resources.

The role requires strong leadership, bilingual abilities preferred, and a track record of driving cost efficiency and service quality in logistics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in the transportation, logistics, or related industry.
• Previous experience managing an employee team.
• Must have worked with Independent Contractors on a regular basis.
• Required knowledge of managing financial performance.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Four-year college degree in Business, Supply Chain Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Must maintain a clear and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment and development strategy of staff and Independent Contractors/Drivers.
• Evaluate staff and/or Independent Contractors performance and adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain communication and relationships with customers for positive experience.
• Enforce policies and procedures consistently across the operation.
• Budget planning and annualized equipment, vehicle, and staffing needs.
