Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee Final Mile / Home Delivery operations for a national 3PL, based in Tulsa, OK. You will lead a team, optimize performance, and build strong relationships with customers and independent drivers.

The role requires 5+ years in operations leadership in logistics, with experience managing contractors, and a focus on service, safety, and cost efficiency. Competitive base salary $70k-$80k with a 10% bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related environment.
• Experience managing employees in a distribution, transportation, delivery, or warehouse operation.
• Experience working with or managing Independent Contractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer relationship and account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a Final Mile delivery location.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with onsite customers and Independent Contractors.
• Supervise and develop a team across Quality Control, Customer Service, and Operations.
• Ensure strong delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
• Manage Independent Contractor compliance, performance, and accountability.
• Partner with customers to resolve operational and service-related issues.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
• Participate in budgeting and overall operational financial performance.
• Identify process improvements that increase efficiency, service levels, and productivity.
