Job summary

Focus is seeking a Warehouse Lead Supervisor - Final Mile in Jacksonville to oversee warehouse labor, train staff, and ensure accurate labeling and scanning discipline. You will assist the Warehouse Manager with shipping/receiving, and step in for the manager when absent, maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating labor, training new associates, supervising packing, labeling accuracy, inventory checks, and adhering to all paperwork processes.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum of warehouse supervisory/lead experience.
• Experience working with furniture is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift heavy furniture.
• Reliable attendance and attention to detail.
• Organized with detailed record keeping.
• Forklift certification/experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse labor activities to achieve high production.
• Train new warehouse associates to standards and quality guidelines.
• Check and ensure labeling accuracy.
• Follow all paperwork processes through completion.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and flag older orders for action.
• Ensure scan discipline and proper movement of items.
• Provide quality control and training for repackaging to prevent damage.
• Follow directions from Warehouse or Hub Manager and perform tasks accordingly.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations and cover for the manager when absent.
