Job summary

Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Fields Complex Manager to lead day-to-day operations for youth and special events. This onsite role requires coordinating event services staff, venue setups, and client communications to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The position emphasizes supervision of part-time crews, strong customer service, and collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver world-class events in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sports complex or youth/special events environment.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills with part-time crews.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facility and equipment for events.
• Coordinate venue setup, strikes and conversions to ensure shows are ready.
• Lead guest services meetings and training sessions.
• Set up pre-event walks with leaders to ensure client readiness.
• Liaise with clients, vendors and staff to relay event information and policies.
• Monitor safety protocols and a safe environment for guests and staff.
