Job summary

GE Vernova is hiring a Wind Technician to operate and maintain wind turbines across multiple sites within Hub ND2. You will work closely with site leadership to meet contract requirements, perform diagnostics, and ensure safety standards are followed on daily tasks.

Benefiting from GE's training and development, you will engage in hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with remote operations when needed, supporting operations at diverse wind sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience as Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic or wind energy certificate/associates.
• 2 years electrical work experience with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operation and safety at sites within Hub ND2.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on turbines.
• Document work with service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract timelines.
