C Cherokee Millwright is seeking a Multi-Craft Field Welder to join the Operations team. The role involves planning, laying out, welding, installing, and repairing metal components per blueprints and specs. Field employees will cross-train in millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, and civil tasks as needed by supervision.

Qualifications

• Must pass structural and 6G pipe weld test.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent; and two+ years of experience with industrial and commercial applications.
• Fork Lift license may be required.
• Reasoning Ability: apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Layout pieces to be welded per blueprints or work orders.
• Weld using manual/semi-automatic/automatic equipment and repair parts as needed.
• Position pieces in jigs using measuring tools and fixtures.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
• Maintain safety practices and complete required records.
