Job summary

Cherokee Millwright is seeking a Multi-Craft Millwright Foreman to lead hands-on installation, dismantling, and movement of machinery per layout plans and blueprints. You will oversee a crew of one to 12, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with office supervision on performance and training.

The role requires cross-training across millwright, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, and civil trades with strong reading of drawings, and a focus on quality and efficiency on job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Cross-trained in multiple trades such as millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, civil.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities.
• Monitor employees' work levels and performance.
• Inspect and maintain tools and site conditions for safety.
• Read blueprints and determine installation procedures.
• Dismantle, move, align, and assemble machinery and equipment.
