Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two+ years of industrial and commercial welding experience.
• Must pass structural and 6G pipe weld test.

Responsibilities

• Laying out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, schematics or work orders.
• Using welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials.
• Positioning pieces to be welded into jigs and fixtures using measuring instruments.
• Inspecting completed work for conformance to specifications.
• Performing minor maintenance to equipment.
• Observing safety practices and maintaining required records.
• Participating in safety committees or initiatives as required.
• Additional skills in other crafts will be necessary to meet customer needs.
