Job summary

Trane Technologies in the Upper Midwest region is hiring a Ductless Technical Specialist to support VRF/Ductless systems at customer locations. This field-based role requires travel and post-sales technical training for customers and office staff.

Minimum 5 years in HVAC installation/service with VRF experience; strong construction knowledge; willing to travel across the territory. Home base near Chicagoland preferred within the Upper Midwest; excellent public speaking skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC installation, service and/or troubleshooting VRF experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction facets (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
• Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Home base near Chicagoland preferred within Upper Midwest Region.
• Excellent public speaking and presenting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in VRF/Ductless post sales product success.
• Monitor and measure processes to meet post-sales ductless activity.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and advising corrective action.
• Provide technical product sales training to area office personnel and customers.
• Conduct field training for installation and troubleshooting of VRF and Ductless products.
• Assist customers in startup and commissioning of VRF and ductless products.
