Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an HVAC Variable Frequency Drive Field Specialist to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service VFDs across hospitals, universities, and government facilities.

You’ll work on pumps, fans, AHUs, and cooling towers, using tools and BMS knowledge while traveling regionally. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on VFD experience, ability to read schematics, and a valid license for on-site client visits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on field experience with VFDs.
• Experience with AHUs, pumps, and cooling towers preferred.
• Ability to interpret HVAC control loop, circuitry, and schematics.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Capable of lifting at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and service VFDs on pumps, fans, AHUs, and cooling tower applications.
• Use hand/power tools, multimeters, clamp meters, and harmonic analyzers; run wire and conduit work.
• Travel on site to hospitals, universities, schools, water treatment plants, and offices.
• Work safely around high-voltage equipment (up to 480V) and low-voltage controls (around 24VDC).
• Document readings and update service logs in Outlook and Excel.
