Job summary

Ambient Enterprises seeks a field service technician to install, startup, troubleshoot, and service VFDs in commercial HVAC settings. Projects include hospitals, universities, and government facilities.

Responsibilities include traveling to client sites, using hand and power tools, reading schematics, and measuring with meters and analyzers. A minimum of 3+ years VFD experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 75 lbs are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on VFD experience in the field.
• Experience with VFDs for AHUs, pumps and cooling towers is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC loop, circuitry and schematics.
• Building Management Systems experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficiency.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work and learn.

Responsibilities

• Installing, starting up, troubleshooting, and servicing VFDs.
• Using hand/power tools, wiring, conduit work, and measurement tools.
