Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking a field service technician to install, start up, troubleshoot, and service VFDs in large commercial HVAC environments across multiple regions. You will handle electrical work, read schematics, and coordinate with customers on-site to ensure optimal VFD performance.

The role requires 3+ years of VFD experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and strong communication skills. A willingness to travel and learn is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on VFD experience in the field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC loop, circuitry and schematics.
• Building Management Systems experience/knowledge.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work and learn.

Responsibilities

• Installing, starting up, troubleshooting, and general service of VFDs.
• Knowing proper operation of hand and power tools, running wires, conduit work, and using electronic measuring tools.
• Traveling to clients.
