Job summary

Ambient Enterprises seeks a Service Technician VFD to install, start-up, troubleshoot, and service Variable Frequency Drives in commercial HVAC environments. You’ll work with pumps and fans in large buildings, handling voltages up to 480V and control voltages such as 24V.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on VFD experience; experience with AHUs, pumps, and cooling towers is a plus. You should read schematics, use hand and power tools, and be willing to travel to client sites across the

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on VFD experience in the field.
• VFDs for AHUs, pumps and cooling towers a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC loop, circuitry and schematics.
• Building Management Systems knowledge.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficiency.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Willingness to work and learn.

Responsibilities

• Installing, starting up, troubleshooting, and servicing VFDs.
• Using hand and power tools, running wires, conduit work, and measurement tools.
• Traveling to client sites.
