Job summary

Software Placement Group seeks a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across Oklahoma and Southwest Missouri. This role is field-based with a remote territory and focuses on building relationships with veterinary distributors and veterinarians to grow product adoption.

Key duties include training distributor reps, supporting launches, visiting clinics for product demonstrations, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with veterinary schools. Travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year sales/marketing experience or 3 years in a veterinary hospital.

Responsibilities

• Ride along with and train veterinary distributor representatives and OTC reps.
• Support new product launches with trained call centers and materials.
• Visit veterinarian offices to sell products, provide samples, and host lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Coordinate with distributor reps and schedule dinner meetings.
• Schedule meetings with veterinary schools and host symposiums and lectures for students.
• Manage a yearly marketing budget to launch and sustain products in the field.
• Provide timely reports to home office on trends and industry changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet company objectives.
• Communicate across departments in a team environment.
