Saalex Corp. in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking an Unexploded Ordnance Technician III to perform UXO reconnaissance, classification, and disposal operations on-site.

The role includes locating subsurface UXO with magnetometers, excavating buried ordnance, and preparing disposal sites while following safety protocols. Requires 6–8 years of related experience and HS Diploma or GED; Active Secret clearance; valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of related experience and HS Diploma or GED required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Ability to maintain drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconnaissance and classification of UXO and identify missiles, bombs, grenades and fuzes.
• Locate subsurface UXO using magnetometers and perform excavation procedures.
• Prepare on-site UXO holding area, disposal sites and firing systems.
• Dispose of UXO/explosives by burning and/or detonation, wear PPE in contaminated areas.
• Inspect salvage UXO-related material and perform field ID and radiographic work.
• Other duties as assigned.
