Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks an experienced UXO Technician to lead complex munitions response projects in the U.S. and abroad.

The on-site authority for UXO operations will ensure safety, quality, and execution from start to finish, guiding teams through challenging environments. The role requires 13+ years of EOD and UXO experience, knowledge of USACE procedures, and proven ability to manage field plans and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 13+ years of combined active-duty military EOD and contractor UXO experience.
• Knowledge of USACE systems, processes, and procedures for MEC and related actions.
• Experience with MEC/HTRW and Construction Support procedures.
• Experience in roles like SUXOS/UXOSO/UXOQCS with DoD/DoJ processes.
• Ability to pass security checks and hold or obtain required certifications.
• State driver's license and potential for state blasting licenses or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site UXO operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
• Develop and implement field plans for UXO investigation and removal.
• Mentor and supervise teams in challenging environments.
• Perform EOD procedures per DoD standards.
• Coordinate with USACE and regulatory bodies.
