Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced UX Designer II for ShipTech within Amazon Delivery Experience. You will be embedded with ShipTech, spend time in warehouses and delivery centers, and own the user experience for a focused workstream.

You will translate insights into clear, usable designs, partner with product and engineering, and help operators and leaders make data-informed decisions in fast-paced environments. A strong field-research background and prototyping expertise are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of design experience.
Proven experience conducting field research and user interviews.
Demonstrated interaction design and prototyping skills.
Experience collaborating with product and engineering.
Advanced proficiency in prototyping with AI and traditional tools.
Empathy for users and user-centered practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth workflow research and mapping across operator and leadership user groups.
Translate strategic direction into UX concepts and patterns grounded in real workflows.
Prototype and iterate designs based on field research and validation.
Create design artifacts ready for engineering handoff with clear feasibility.
Establish patterns and drive design consistency across workstreams.
Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure technically sound designs.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions.
Present design rationale and insights to stakeholders for alignment.
Contribute to design reviews and raise the bar for quality.
