Job summary

Osmose is seeking a Foreman - Wood (Field) to oversee conservation and inspection of wooden utility poles. You will learn inspection procedures, safety protocols, and industry standards while traveling to sites and collaborating with Utility Pole Inspectors.

Responsibilities include data collection, reporting, and maintaining records on tools and equipment, with strict adherence to PPE and regulations. The role requires year-round outdoor work and end-to-end safety focus.

Qualifications

• Possess a current/valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.

Responsibilities

• Undergo training to understand the basics of utility pole inspections and safety protocols.
• Learn inspection procedures to evaluate wooden utility poles and associated equipment.
• Assist in identifying issues and contribute to a maintenance plan.
• Complete inspection records and report in compliance with codes/regulations.
• Collect field data and perform daily/weekly reporting.
• Maintain records on tools, electronics, vehicles, and equipment.
• Adhere to company and government safety regulations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
