Job summary

Osmose is seeking a Crew Member (Field) to perform hands-on pole maintenance and related tasks in outdoor environments. The role requires extensive travel, up to five weeks at a time, and collaboration with Inspectors and Trainees to build essential skills.

Responsibilities include identifying defects, maintaining tools, handling pesticides per standards, and safely operating company vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and varying terrain.
• Must pass background checks and motor vehicle records pull.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and standards set by the company and regulations.
• Identify defects in poles and report findings promptly.
• Ensure tools are maintained, calibrated and in good condition.
• Safely handle pesticides in compliance with regulations.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Perform maintenance to utility poles as directed by Inspector/Foreman.
• Work as part of a crew and communicate with team members.
• Dig holes to required specifications.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
