Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess a current/valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no DUI/DWIs within the past 5 years.
• Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions, lifting or moving up to 40lbs., and hiking over varied terrain.
• Demonstrate leadership to complete tasks safely and manage vehicle/equipment.
• Professional attitude representing the organization to clients and communities.

Responsibilities

• Undergo training to understand the basics of utility pole inspections, safety protocols and industry standards.
• Learn and follow inspection procedures to evaluate pole condition and signs of deterioration.
• Assist in identifying issues and contribute to developing a maintenance plan.
• Complete inspection records and report in compliance with codes and regulations.
• Collect field data and perform daily and weekly reporting activities.
• Maintain and keep records up to date on tools, electronics, vehicles, and equipment.
• Adhere to company and government safety regulations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
