Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking motivated field technicians to locate underground utilities across diverse sites. This full-time role involves independent fieldwork with a company vehicle and requires strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills.

You will locate telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer lines, document results, and photograph sites. Training is provided, and overtime/weekend shifts may be required based on demand.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities in designated areas.
• Thoroughly search for utilities, mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
