Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking outdoor-focused field locators to identify and mark underground utilities across various sites. You will work independently, operate a company vehicle, and use our systems to ensure accurate locates for excavators and property owners.

Role requires willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed. We provide extensive training and growth opportunities within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficient with Technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
• These are daytime, full-time positions. We have a 48-hour turnaround time on many locates, which means we generally work the day after holidays and some weekends, as needed.
