Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking skilled field locators to identify and mark underground utilities across designated areas. You will operate company vehicles, use locator technology, and document each locate with photos and detailed notes.

We offer comprehensive training, a path for advancement, and a strong focus on safety and quality. The role is daytime, full-time, with overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently.
• Thoroughly search areas, mark locations, document findings, and photograph locates.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts.
