Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC seeks dependable field technicians to locate underground utilities nationwide. You will operate a company vehicle and follow our mark-out process to ensure safe excavations for customers and the public.

Role requires outdoor work, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a drug screen. Training is provided and opportunities for advancement are available in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer).
• Mark locations, complete required documentation, and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
