Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking outdoor-minded individuals for long-term field work locating underground utilities across our service areas. No prior locating experience is required, but a safety mindset and reliability are essential.

You will work with a company-provided vehicle and be trained from day one. You’ll perform daytime, full-time locates, mark sites, document findings, and photograph locate tickets.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search in a designated area, accurately marking location, completing documentation, and photographing each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time shifts with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call duties as needed.
