USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking motivated individuals for outdoor, field-based utility locating roles. Join a team known for safety, training, and opportunities for advancement, with a company vehicle and paid training.

As a Locator, you will locate underground utilities, document findings, and cooperate with excavators and homeowners. The role requires flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
• These are daytime, full-time positions with a 48-hour turnaround on many locates; overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call shifts may be required.
