ArborMetrics is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to join our outdoor-focused team. The role emphasizes field work, vegetation management, and coordination with landowners and agencies while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Patrol Preparation: organize records, maps, and paperwork; review work sites for habitats and vegetation.
• Field Patrol Duties: safely patrol energy corridors; identify vegetation for pruning/removal; conduct Tree Risk Assessments.
• Landowner & Stakeholder Engagement: communicate work plans to owners and agencies; obtain permissions.
• Coordination & Safety: follow safety protocols; operate vehicles; report hazards.
• Additional Responsibilities: participate in storm/emergency response; perform other duties.
