Job summary

Atlas Field Services is seeking a Contract Utility Forester to support vegetation management across assigned territories. You will assist foresters, patrol rights‑of‑way, address owner and client concerns, and monitor work for safety and contract compliance.

The role requires field experience, the ability to travel, and strong communication skills. This full‑time position emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Arboriculture, or a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Associate Degree in one of the same fields with minimum two years of utility vegetation management experience.
• High school diploma with minimum six years in forester or related utility industry position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the company forester with vegetation management in an assigned territory.
• Patrol and inspect electric utility right of way to determine management activities.
• Assist in investigating property owner and customer concerns.
• Help monitor vegetation management activities for contract compliance.
• Assist with storm restoration or other emergencies as directed.
• Communicate work plan to vegetation contractors under supervision.
• Conduct inspections of vegetation crews for safety and quality compliance.
• Record inspection data in applicable forms and systems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
