Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled UPS technician in Houston to maintain and service critical power systems for government, commercial, and industrial facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and on-site repairs with factory training on major UPS brands.

The role requires travel, on-call availability, and the ability to manage safety and documentation, while collaborating with the Critical Power Group to deliver reliable power and smart system solutions.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited program.
• Minimum seven years OEM experience in power electronics or eight years field repair.
• Strong ability to read schematics and diagnose complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and certify power electronics and their components.
• Provide maintenance, repair, and testing of UPS and battery systems.
• Support customers with technical guidance and on-site field service.
