Job summary
White-Recruitment is seeking an experienced UPS Technician to service, maintain and troubleshoot 3-phase UPS systems along the Raleigh to Charlotte corridor. The role is field-based, supporting customer sites across the region and requires strong electrical knowledge.
You will perform start-ups, commissioning and preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and install battery systems, PDUs and static switches.
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years' hands-on experience with 3-phase UPS systems.
- Strong AC/DC electrical knowledge
- Experience with UPS batteries and battery maintenance
- Factory UPS training advantageous
- Comfortable with extensive regional travel, potentially up to 75%
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends and overtime
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and troubleshoot 3-phase UPS systems.
- Perform UPS start-ups, commissioning and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimize customer downtime.
- Work on battery systems, PDUs and static switches.
- Install and maintain critical power and battery equipment.
- Interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Participate in emergency/on-call support when required
