Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking an experienced UPS Technician to join a growing field service team along the Raleigh to Charlotte corridor. The role involves servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting 3-phase UPS systems across client sites.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years with UPS systems, strong AC/DC knowledge, and experience with batteries. Local travel up to 75% and flexibility for after-hours work are required.

Qualifications

2-3+ years' hands-on experience with 3-phase UPS systems.
Strong AC/DC electrical knowledge.
Experience with UPS batteries and battery maintenance.
Factory UPS training advantageous.
Comfortable with extensive regional travel, potentially up to 75%.
Valid driver's license.
Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

Service, maintain and troubleshoot 3-phase UPS systems
Start-ups, commissioning and preventative maintenance
Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimize customer downtime
Work on battery systems, PDUs and static switches
Install and maintain critical power and battery equipment
Interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
Provide technical support to customers
Participate in emergency/on-call support when required
