Job summary

Qualifications

• One year or more in engineering/inspection roles is preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, plans, or schematics is valued.
• Ability to document observations and progress in field records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect highway construction work for adherence to plans, standards, and regulations.
• Support testing activities including material compaction checks and placement observations.
• Record diary entries, prepare estimates, review sketches, and track quantities for project records.
• Coordinate with contractors, survey teams, and agency staff to resolve issues and maintain progress.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental practices and standards.
• Perform winter duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
