Job summary

RK&K is hiring Transportation Construction Inspectors, Supervisors, and Managers for PennDOT and state/municipal road projects across South Central Pennsylvania. Positions are field-based, located at construction sites in multiple counties and require inspection experience or related construction experience.

Ideal candidates possess a PE, civil engineering degree, or related certifications, plus the ability to work day or night shifts and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a PennDOT Technical Assistant or 2+ years transportation/hwy/bridge inspection experience.
• 4+ years highway/bridge construction inspection or related field experience.
• CE/CM degree or PE license qualifies possession.
• Certification in Transportation Tech or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on roadway and bridge projects within the region.
• Oversee contractor quality control operations.
• Perform QA sampling and testing.
• Complete Daily Sampling and Testing Reports.
• Prepare Daily Inspection Reports and coordinate with clients and field staff.
