Job summary

Preferred candidates have 2+ years of highway/bridge construction experience, a valid driver's license, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or higher education; ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Two years of transportation, highway, or bridge construction experience preferred; recent engineering graduates encouraged to apply.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contract documents by the contractor.
• Ensure compliance with the contractor's health and safety plan.
• Check that delivered materials conform to the contract documents.
• Check contractor's layout and verify accuracy.
• Prepare and submit daily reports of work performed.
• Effective oral and written communication.
