Job summary

ISG is seeking a Transportation Construction Technician in Brookfield, WI. This field-based role involves working with contractors on WisDOT, county and city projects, often in varying weather and terrain. You will help ensure projects are built to spec and make real-time decisions on-site.

The job emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and delivering quality documentation. A valid driver’s license and travel to sites are required, with competitive ESOP-driven benefits and full-time

Qualifications

• Experience with WisDOT standards or similar municipal projects is preferred.
• Civil 3D familiarity is helpful but not strictly required.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to WisDOT, county, and city transportation construction projects.
• Conduct pre-construction, public information and weekly construction meetings.
• Perform civil engineering calculations and prepare plans, designs, and reports.
• Provide construction oversight and on-site inspection when needed.
• Serve as liaison with clients, government authorities and contractors.
• Deliver project documents within budget and time constraints.
• Develop and nurture client relationships and business growth.
• Assist with design of transportation and municipal infrastructure when in office.
