Job summary

ISG in Green Bay, WI is hiring a Transportation Construction Technician to join our growing Transportation team. This field-based role puts you out on WisDOT, county, and city projects where your hands-on problem-solving makes a real impact every day.

You will work alongside contractors, conduct field measurements, help ensure construction is built correctly, and support project teams with timely decisions. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

• Field-based role requiring travel to job sites and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to WisDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects
• Conduct professional meetings including pre-construction, public information and weekly construction meetings
• Perform civil engineering calculations; prepare engineering plans, designs and reports and construction oversight including inspection when needed
• Serve as a liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities and contractors
• Deliver project documents within prescribed budgetary and time constraints while satisfying client requirements
• Develop and enhance client relationships and business growth
• Prioritize overall project management and ensure successful project delivery
• Assist with functional and detailed design of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects when in the office

Our Transportation team serves WisDOT, county and city clients throughout Wisconsin from our La Crosse, Green Bay and Brookfield offices. We are a full‑service, multi‑disciplinary team, performing award‑winning work in planning, design, survey, and construction.
